What judges look for in flowers:
1. Flowers and foliage free from bruises, wilting, dirt, insects and spray residue
2. Symmetry, not over matured
3. Color clear and bright
4. Exhibit uniform in size, shape and color
Class 63: Flowers (exhibit in a jar or vase of water)
ANNUALS
Ageratum – 3 stems
Asters – 3 blooms
Bells of Ireland – 3 stems
Calendula – 3 blooms
Celosia – (cockscomb)
Cleoma – (spider flower) 3 stems
Cosmos – 3 blooms
Dahlia -3 blooms
Gladiolus – 3 spikes
Marigold – 3 blooms
Nasturtuim – 3 blooms
Pansy – 6 blooms
Petunias – 3 stems
Phlox – 3 stems growth
Rudbeckia – (Gloriosa Daisy) 3 blooms
Salvia – 3 spikes
Scabiosa – 3 blooms
Snapdragons – 3 spikes
Strawflower – 3 spikes Zinnia – 3 blooms
Any other Annual – 3 blooms, stems, or spikes depending on flower growth
PERENNIALS
